Sheffield Children’s Hospital Helipad - James Totty Partnership
From air ambulance to critical care, directly.
James Totty Partnership’s new rooftop helipad at Sheffield Children’s Hospital creates a dedicated landing facility with direct access into the hospital, improving the journey for children arriving by air ambulance.
Set above the existing Stephenson Building, the lightweight aluminium helideck connects to a new lift tower by an elevated link bridge, bringing together complex engineering, carefully detailed materials and the demands of a working hospital.
A highly technical intervention designed around one thing: getting children to specialist care more directly.
