Northern General Hospital, Brearley 1 Dementia Gardens - Weddles
A garden designed to soothe, stimulate and support.
Weddles have transformed two disused courtyards at Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital into therapeutic gardens designed around the needs of people living with dementia.
Colour, texture, scent and sound combine with clear, accessible routes to create spaces for quiet retreat, activity and social connection, with each courtyard offering a different sensory experience.
A thoughtful transformation that puts nature and wellbeing at the heart of care.
