This extension and renovation of a mid-20th-century Arts and Crafts-style home in the Ranmoor Conservation Area creates a modern, low-energy home. The design intentionally distinguishes between old and new. The existing house retains its Arts and Crafts style while the new extensions, set below the existing roofline, signify their contemporary nature with larch timber cladding and modern plywood interiors.
