Leah’s Yard - Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Lathams

Winner of the Conservation Award at the 2024 Awards

A part of the city that for many years was considered unviable to restore, was brought back to life as part of the wider Heart of the City regeneration. The judges were impressed by the restoration works and the commitment of the landlord in supporting small, independent businesses who were Sheffield-made.

As one of the only remaining Mester’s yards in Sheffield, this project is important for the city in terms of both its unique heritage and the enlivenment it has brought about.
